Sargent and Greenleaf safe plaque, brass and nickel-plated brass, reads "This space fitted for Sargent and Greenleaf No. 2 Time Lock," measures approximately 7.75 inches x 6.5 inches. A terrific associated piece for the collector that owns a Sargent and Greenleaf Model 2. From the collection of John Erroll, co-author of American Genius: Nineteenth-Century Bank Locks and Time Locks. A copy of the book will be included with this lot.
CONDITION:
Plaque show light wear, scrape across portion of "TI" in "TIME" marking, some scattered mild scratches and dings elsewhere, some finish loss at edges.
